Background:
|
The Milwaukee Education Partnership (MEP) - formerly the Milwaukee Partnership Academy (MPA) - is a PK-16 council consisting of education, labor, business, government, university, foundation, parent and community groups. The Executive Partners provide the ongoing direction and overarching goals and objectives for the work of the MEP. Milwaukee Education Partnership Executive Gerard Randall will provide an overview of the work and recent accomplishments of the MEP. Particularly, to highlight those efforts which seek to improve the academic achievement of Milwaukee Public Schools students as well as efforts to improve their access to higher education institutions. Further, the MEP will provide examples of its sponsored programs that improve the quality of teaching among MPS faculty.
