Background: Current Project Updates

Resolution 1819R-011

The Office of Accountability and Efficiency (OAE) presented, with the Administration, the work to explore the feasibility of instituting a local purchasing program modeled after the City of Milwaukee's program to the Committee on Accountability, Finance, and Personnel on March 19, 2019.

At the request of the Committee, the team is conducting an analysis comprised of an historical look-back on the potential impact of the program with various parameters. It anticipated that this analysis and subsequent recommendations will be completed for reporting to the Board in August 2019.

2019-20 Proposed Budget

The OAE is working with the Administration and the Office of Board Governance to ensure the Board is fully informed on all matters related to the budget. We will continue to assist and support throughout the budget process.
