Background:
|
The Administration has numerous educational pathways available for current staff to receive both teaching degrees and licensure. There are programs available for licensure and/or degrees in Administration, Alternative Education, Bilingual, Special Education, Reading, and Math preparation. There are also programs under development and coming soon for licensure and/or degrees in grades 4-12 Math and Science; Montessori; and PK-12 Physical Education, Health, ESL, World Languages, Art or Music. The Office of Human Resources has worked with the Grants Office and received $250,000 in grant funding to cover additional costs to expand the programs and enrollment for special education licensure and degree programs. Attached is a presentation which gives an overview of the various programs.
