Background: To better serve the 53206 community, the Board approved to implement the 53206 Initiative. The Principal's Cohort consisting of nine school leaders from North Division, Andrew Douglas, Auer Avenue, Benjamin Franklin, Hopkins Lloyd, Green Bay, Gwen T. Jackson, Keefe Avenue, and Lafollette, have met regularly to further discuss the needs in 53206.

The Principal's Cohort has moved forward with the school reconfigurations recommended by the Administration. Auer Avenue, Hopkins Lloyd, Keefe Avenue, and Gwen T. Jackson will operate as K-5 schools. Andrew Douglas will operate as a 6-8 middle school and Lafollette and Benjamin Franklin will operate as K-8 school programs. Green Bay will serve as a Success Center for all schools and North Division will operate as the flagship high school in the 53206 initiative.
