Background: At the October 26, 2017 Board meeting, Resolution 1718R-009 by Directors Bonds and Harris to create a Success Center for At-risk Students in grades 4-12 at the Daniel Webster Campus, was referred to the Committee on Student Achievement and School Innovation.

In order to prepare a complete, detailed response to this Resolution, the Administration will need additional time and is therefore, requesting that it be held in committee to allow staff time to prepare information on the feasibility and fiscal implications of implementing the resolution if adopted.
Fiscal Impact Statement: This item does not authorize expenditures.
Implementation and Assessment Plan The Administration will proceed as directed by the Board.
Recommendation: The Committee recommends that Resolution 1718R-009 by Directors Bonds and Harris to create a Success Center for At-risk students in grades 4-12, be held in committee with a response to be brought back to the Committee on Accountability, Finance, and Personnel by February 2018.
