Background:

In FY17, the District applied for $73.7 million through 171 grant applications, with a total of $37.4 million having been awarded to date and 14 applications still pending.
In FY18, the District applied for a total of $27.3 million through 34 competitive grants during the first quarter. Total grant awards and sub-awards received by the District from these applications total $34,200 to-date, with 27 applications still pending.
