Background: Proposed revisions to Administrative Procedure 7.33, Grading Systems, are being brought forward to account for use of pass/fail grades with work study, internships, apprenticeships, and designated alternative programs. Changes clarify the fact that students may earn more than one pass/fail credit per semester within the guidelines of Administrative Procedure 7.33, Grading Systems.
Fiscal Impact Statement: This item does not authorize expenditures.
Implementation and Assessment Plan If these revisions are approved by the Board, the Office of Academics will provide appropriate professional development to staff so they are successful in the implementation of this revised policy and procedure.
Recommendation: Your Committee recommends that the Board approve the revisions to Administrative Procedure 7.33, Grading Systems, as indicated in the attachments to this item.
