Background:
|
The Milwaukee Board of School Directors, in partnership with the Panasonic Foundation, will conduct a retreat from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017, in the WOW Board Room of the International Headquarters of Manpower Group, 100 Manpower Place, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The goals of the retreat are to:
• provide deeper understanding of the content and strategies related to the Milwaukee Public Schools’ Strategic Plan, Goal #3, “Effective and Efficient Operations”, Objective #7, “Develop Our Workforce”;
• develop the 2017-18 Board Work Plan, including topics and a calendar for the Board’s identified work sessions and policies to be adopted or revised and monitored in relation to the Strategic Plan; and
• to conduct an after-action review of the content, protocols, and use of the Superintendent’s evaluation instrument.
Although this retreat will be open to the public, the public, as is customary, will not be allowed to participate.
