Background:
|
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) mandated during the 2016-2017 school year that all school districts in the state conduct a self-evaluation in regards to PI 9.06 Pupil Nondiscrimination, in three specific areas: 1. Counseling Curriculum 2. Extracurricular Activities 3. Awards and Scholarships As part of the self-evaluation, DPI required that a data set be prepared for feedback from stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, families, students, and community members. In order to fulfill our obligation to DPI, a report must be shared with the Board for public communication. The attached report is a summary of the feedback from stakeholders, as well as recommended next steps in response to their feedback.
