Background:

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 119.16(8(a), Wisconsin Statutes, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, in the Auditorium of the Central Services Building, 5225 West Vliet Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the purpose of giving public hearing on the proposed FY2018 School Operations, Construction, and Extension Fund budgets.
A copy of the summary of the proposed FY18 budget, including the notice of tonight's meeting, as published in the May 10, 2017, edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, is attached.
