The purpose of this committee is to analyze the district's current records-management practices in order to make recommendations to the Board and its chief executive officers on matters pertaining to records and information management within the district.

The amendments proposed in this item will improve the efficiency of the committee by allowing the option of designee-representation of members.

The recommendations will also improve the effectiveness of the committee by removing unnecessary elements of the committee's charge and replacing them with elements that are more relevant to the work of creating a robust records-management program within the district.
