Background:

At its July 30, 2020 meeting, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors referred Resolution 2021R-011 by Director Miller to the Committee on Student Achievement and School Innovation. The Administration is in agreement with the resolution and is recommending its adoption. Once adopted, the Administration will begin the planning to implement the resolution in partnership with America's Black Holocaust Museum, Marquette University's Center for Urban Research, Teaching & Outreach (CURTO), and the Community Schools Partnership.

Upon adoption by the Board, the Administration will begin implementing Resolution 2021R-011.
