Background:

The Administration requests approval of budget parameters to be used in the planning and development of the fiscal year 2019-20 budget (FY20). FY20 is the first year of the State's biennial budget cycle. As such, the state parameters are not known. |

Your Committee recommends approval of the Administration’s Recommendation with an amendment to Budget Parameter #7 to read “Development of a budget that reflects a commitment to fair resources, quality and socially transformative learning, a supportive environment for employees, and an equitable education system for all”. |
