Background:
|
|
On July 26, 2018, the Board approved the 2018-2019 Inter-District Transfer Agreements and authorized the Administration to execute the contracts with the participating districts. Since that time, it was discovered that due to the rounding of monetary calculations, an adjustment to the total expenditure was necessary. A technical amendment is needed to align the numbers that are being reported to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The Administration is requesting that the Board approve the amended contract amount as indicated in attachment one to this item. |

Fiscal Impact Statement:
|
|
The Administration is requesting authorization to amend the 2018-2019 Inter-District Transfer Agreement to reflect the corrected calculations. This item authorizes expenditures pursuant to federal law. Districts are reimbursed based on the number of eligible Milwaukee resident students who receive Title I services provided by the host district. The budget code for the amended reimbursement of the expenditures is SM1-0-0-TRS-DW-EPPT for the amount of $1,152,954.70. |

Upon approval by the Board, the amended agreements will begin as indicated in the attachment. |

Recommendation
|
|
The Administration recommends that the Board approve the technical amendment to the 2018-2019 Inter-District Transfer Agreements. |
